The Amazing lakes of Canada

 

One of the natural attractions of Canada are small and more of the lake. We can say that Canada – this is the country where most lakes in the world.

One of these lakes is lake Kliluk, which is located in British Columbia near the town of Osoyoos. Lake Kliluk is called “Spotted lake” because of its weird shape. It is a large number of small spots, which are formed in summer. Summer temperatures can reach 40 degrees during this period, from the lake evaporates large quantities of water, forming a large “spots” of different minerals. In the water of Spotted lake, the high concentration of various minerals, such as sodium sulfate, magnesium, calcium. Big bear lake is located on the Eastern slope of the Mackenzie mountains, which are included in the system of the Cordilleras. Lake strongly with the South, West and East sides of indented by bays, and the North side it has a flat and straight stretch of shore.

One of the meteorite craters is Manicouagan crater, which is located in the province of Quebec. Lake Manicouagan or the Eye of Quebec, was formed in the fall of the asteroid 214 million years ago.
